Cam Ranh international airport in Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa is not only an important gateway that makes it more convenient for investors and tourists to visit Khanh Hoa and South Central Coast provinces but also an international airport which contributes to the development of the region’s socio-economy.

   The Prime Minister has approved Cam Ranh International airport Plan until 2020 and planned until 2030:

- Capacity for airplanes: airbus 320, 321, 300-600, Boeing 767, 777, 747

- Using 2 runways; the expansion of apron will ensure 32 parking slots in 2020 and 36 parking slots in 2030.

  Until 2030, passenger terminal building will be expanded to reach 3,800 passengers/rush hour, which is equivalent to 8 million passengers/year, with the total investment of more than 10,000 billion VND.

   Khanh Hoa project management unit of transport construction is the investor of CHC No.2 way project. The airport is located in tropical climate zone and close to the coast, therefore the investor requires special standards towards the project’s equipment such as: folding resistance, corrosion resistance,…

  The inset light’s design has 3 layers of gasket; the elevated lights are made of aluminium die-casting and aviation yellow powder painting. The investor has chosen OCEM products for this project. OCEM supplies approach light, SFL and RTILs, runway threshold light, runway edge light, stop bar light, taxiway edge light, constant current regulator and especially the Individual light control and monitoring system (ILCMS) which is able to control the light system at Runway  no.1 and the new system at Runway no.2 as well as other equipment.

  VTD is chosen to sign the contract of supplying and installing the lighting system with the project’s main contractor. With 10 years of experience in this field, VTD is confident to carry out the contract on schedule.
