On April 16th, Viet Sky Technology JSC cooperated with Airport Design and Construction Consultancy One Member Co., ltd. - Ministry of Defense and OCEM Airfield Technology Group to hold the workshop on Heliport design and construction for buildings in Vietnam.

The workshop was held at Daewoo Hotel, Hanoi with the participation of: Mr. Park Myung Ki - Vice President of OCEM Airfield Technology Group, experts from OCEM Group; Dr. Nguyen Bach Tung - Chairman of Airport Design and Construction Consultancy One Member Co., ltd. - Ministry of Defense; Mr. Tran Tien Dat - Chairman of Viet Sky Technology JSC. On the guests' side, the organization board was honored to welcome representatives of government agencies, representatives of consulting, designing and construction agencies, and other famous investors in Vietnam such as VinGroup, SunGroup, FLC, Shunshine,...

During the workshop, experts and speakers mentioned about Issues in designing, building and licensing heliport for buildings in Vietnam and other topics such as "Heliport design according to ICAO & FAA international standards"; "The signal light control system for heliport lighting" or experiences in installing and running heliport’s equipment for buildings in Vietnam.

The workshop clarified issues related to the majority of current heliports on the roofs of buildings that have not been licensed to operate, leading to waste in construction and installation investment, that’s why full capacity of the heliport  is not promoted. The main reason is due to a number of self-built heliports that do not follow any design documents set up by qualified consultants, or installing equipment that do not meet the quality standards,... These are all useful and important information for airport consulting, designing and construction agencies in Vietnam.

At the end, the organization board sincerely thanked the attendees and hoped that the workshop would be helpful for the guests in solving the questions about the construction of heliport on buildings in Vietnam.
