The Data Collection Platform (DCP) is used with an automatic weather observation system (AWOS) to collect, process, and record incoming sensor data.

The data logger uses a removable 32GB memory card, capable of storing several years of data. The standard configuration is 25 general-purpose I/O and 8 analog inputs.

The DCP is located at the sensor station, collects data from sensors, performs error detection of received information, converts sensor data, and transmits packets containing sensor data and status information to the sensor station. Central data processing system (CDP).
